Women Empowerment Programme

Sadana Educational Development Society remained dedicated to promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality through its Women Empowerment Programme.

Program Highlights
  • Skill    Development Workshops: Organized skill development workshops tailored for women in various fields such as tailoring, handicrafts, entrepreneurial training, and computer literacy. These workshops aimed to enhance their skills and economic independence.
  • Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship: Conducted sessions on financial literacy, budgeting, and entrepreneurship. Empowered women with knowledge and resources to start or manage small businesses, promoting economic selfsufficiency.
  • Health and Hygiene Workshops: Offered workshops focusing on women’s health, hygiene, and reproductive rights. Addressed topics such as menstrual hygiene, family planning, and access to healthcare, promoting overall wellbeing.
  • Legal Awareness and Advocacy: Provided legal awareness sessions and support for women’s rights. Empowered women with knowledge about their rights and avenues for legal aid in cases of discrimination or abuse.

Challenges and Future Plans:

Despite positive outcomes, challenges were encountered during the Women Empowerment Programme. To further its impact, Sadana Educational Development Society plans to expand the scope of skill development programs, provide ongoing mentorship and support to women entrepreneurs, intensify health and hygiene initiatives, and continue advocating for gender equality and women’s rights within the community.
